KYLEE MARSHALL, LMFT
If you’re browsing this website you are getting a little taste of who I am and what I value. I was inspired to start Golden Hour Therapy Services because I wanted to create a therapeutic culture that would value and affirm every client’s worth and unique strengths. I want each client who walks through my door to feel like they are worthy and valuable just as they are while empowering them to embrace opportunities for growth and change. I consider myself to be a research-informed, client-centered therapist, meaning I use evidence-based treatments while also drawing upon your unique strengths and resources. I believe that the change that will happen in therapy is because of you and your efforts. I’m honored to be a part of your growth and to have a front-row seat to your healing. Thank you for including me.
My strengths as a therapist include the ability to deliver difficult feedback in gentle and compassionate ways, my warmth and humor, and my ability to remember all of your friends and their names. No, seriously.

Beyond my therapeutic work, I have enjoyed my time teaching about race, ethnicity, and cross-cultural families in the School of Family Life at BYU. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, prompted by my participation in the Civil Rights Seminar when I was at BYU. This experience changed my life and my understanding of the world as I learned how to amplify and truly listen to experiences that were different than mine. I was also heavily involved in studying leadership throughout my life and jump at the chance to learn more about what it takes to be an influential leader.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you can find me snuggling my dog, Frodo, doing something creative, posting unsolicited book reviews on my Instagram, punching it out at the kickboxing gym, or enjoying one of my husband’s delicious meals (let the record show that he’s the cook in this family, not me). My secret aspiration is to be a travel food blogger.
I think we might be able to do some great work together.
